Angle Cutter

The QJ-50 angle cutter trims angled corners from stacked covering paper to prepare clean folds for rigid boxes, hardcover cases and other paperboard products.

During wrapping, untrimmed corner areas can overlap when adjacent paper edges are folded over, creating excessive material buildup, raised joints or uneven corners. By removing a controlled section from each corner, the QJ-50 provides sufficient clearance for the adjoining flaps to meet neatly during subsequent gluing and edge folding.

With a stacked cutting thickness of up to 50 mm and a cutting angle width of up to 50 mm, the machine can process multiple prepared sheets in one operation while maintaining consistent corner geometry. Its compact upright structure and flat working table support straightforward material positioning and make it practical as an auxiliary cutting station.

The QJ-50 is typically used after paper sizing, printing or lamination and before gluing and wrapping. It can prepare covering paper for rigid gift boxes, hardcover books, binders, calendars, presentation folders and other wrapped paperboard products, helping reduce manual corner trimming and rework in the following folding process.
