The QZT-400 book spine cutter machine automatically cuts greyboard into accurately sized spine strips for hardcover books, folders and rigid packaging cases.
In a hardcover case structure, the spine strip is positioned between the front and back cover boards, with hinge gaps retained on both sides. Its width and length directly affect spine support, cover alignment, opening movement and the overall appearance of the finished product.
The machine combines automatic board feeding with adjustable cutting length, reducing repeated manual measuring and improving dimensional consistency across production batches. A special eccentric-cam drive provides stable cutting motion, while the centralized lubrication system supports routine maintenance and reliable operation.
Finished spine strips can be transferred to subsequent case positioning, gluing and laminating processes together with the cover boards. The QZT-400 supports the production of hardcover books, ring binders, document folders, photo albums, calendar covers, book-style gift boxes, presentation cases and other paperboard products that require a separate central spine component.
